sommige talen hoef je niet uit te leggen
met kogels zijn dingen heel simpel te zeggen
er was eens een cowboy, gevreesd en gehaat
waar hij ook gaat, als hij praat dan is het te laat.
dit is het verhaal
van de cowboy met de dodelijke taal
een revolver heeft hij niet
wel een mond die sneller dan zijn schaduw schiet
hij was er op uit al zijn targets te halen
alom moest men zijn repliek duur betalen
na jaren dwalen was door wat hij zegt
al wat krom is recht of het zwijgen opgelegd
nadat hij heel de wereld met zijn woorden heeft doorzeefd
wil hij nu slechts nog maar naar haar waar hij onuitspreekbaar veel om geeft
tot op het bot versleten komt hij met zijn laatste kracht
